The best and the worst job in the world.

First let me say that personally repudiate the notion that you have to work to survive, since only encourages competition between individuals and friends. However, in a capitalist and patriarchal system as exists in this globalized world, you need a job. And based on this, it is that for me, the best job in the world is to be a DRAG QUEEN.
The drag made an interesting job and playing with gender roles and androgyny, is also very entertaining and quite an art. An example to follow in this art is Rupaul, who has conquered the world through Drag Race and career in American TV. However, it is a little-known art at least in Chile and just lay on the development of events and works in nightclubs. This is necessary, therefore dignify art drag at least in our country and to transform the vision and recognize their work the artists of the Drag, as actors who struggle daily against discrimination and inequality and make it through her this talent.
On the other hand, the worst job in the world for me doesn’t exist.  Because the worst job in the world is only one in which a person is done unmotivated and unwilling to do so. For example, from the point of having a college degree by money, if we do not like what we do.

So my advice in this blog is the best and worst job does not exist as such, only one must be willing and besides that, there should be calling for a job or another. And that's why I cannot say that a job is the worst in the world. Finally, I would add that it is not personal, it drag, and take each other hands and come together, cause, we are each other family. This is our land, and we’re the queens.

America Football Cup

In the context of national protest, with teachers and students on strike against government reforms, notably "Teaching Profession" and higher education; it was held in Chile, the Copa America, being at oldest world championship. In which, for a month we can see how the protests of teachers and students was deflating.

What is my opinion about the cup?
First, I think the glass generates among Chileans a nationalist and chauvinist, feeling for wanting to be better than the neighboring country.  And I say this because comments emerged in different places, where it is discriminated to be another Argentine, Bolivian or without understanding that all Latin American countries have a common origin in the looting carried out by the European (Spain and Portugal).

However, I share the empathy of triumph, when referring to the people, and that those who held that Chile won the cup, were the popular sectors of the various Chilean cities. And I was glad to see my neighbors happy; forgetting little daily problems such as lack of money, such as joy was short-lived triumph in the cup.

Copa America then we could say it has a double significance for me, on one hand represents the neglect of the institutions of the state towards education, using television to break up protests, and thus ended mobilizations teachers, bad shape that did not achieve their goals. On the other hand, it also meant a joy to the Chilean people, who held and still celebrates the victory achieved.

Flood in the desert: Tragedy in the north of Chile

The Atacama Desert is known as one of the driest in the world, then what happened?
US forecasters warned on March 21st that sighted a strange event in the second, third and fourth region of Chile. This situation would generate unusual rains in the desert, but no one expected a disaster occurs. The rain that much is expected, due to the severe drought that affected the country several years ago, came and swept away everything in its way.
So we face a difficult situation to understand, first, we notice meteorologists, and moreover, the population which was not informed that this meteorological event happen.
What I personally believe this, is that if it happened, that Onemi had warned the population, this alarm would not have generated major changes in the results because, as I said earlier, the tragedy was in the driest desert world!!
I also believe that Chile, as a centralized country, the news reached the authorities when a flood had swept cities like Chañaral, Copiapó and small towns like El Salado. Also, in the area of the desert, by normal weather conditions, is that cities are far away from each other, then the communication and connection between them was much more difficult, and if among these villages could not communicate, was even more difficult with other regions, such as the metropolitan region known it was raining, but not the magnitude of the event was known.
To conclude, I would say that Chile, we all know is a country where nature download their power, either through an earthquake or a volcano, are phenomena that Chileans are accustomed to live, the problem is that there are preventive policies throughout the country, and the work of geographers in this mainly lies in helping to develop awareness and policy primarily to prevent natural hazards.
